Water for Development (W4D), was founded in Spain in 2005 as Amigos de Silva, and since 2007 has been working in Ethiopia directly implementing projects on the ground. 

We are a non-profit Development NGO that carries out Humanitarian Aid and Development Cooperation projects in the areas of Water, Education, Health and Food Security based on the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. We believe that through access to clean water, all facets of development are connected. By increasing access to water, we can increase access to education, healthcare, and agriculture, and change lives one community at a time.
